Elvis Costello se juntou a duas das mais sensacionais vozes do country/folk/americana dos Estados Unidos: Rosanne Cash e Kris Kristofferson na faixa “April 5th”. A parceria talvez não seja lá uma grande novidade, já que os músicos gravaram essa faixa um tempo atrás (como vocês podem ver, logo mais abaixo).
O bacana aqui é que Costello acaba de lançar sua autobiografia “Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink” e, junto a ela, montou um álbum duplo, com 38 músicas, com faixas que se relacionam com os temas e histórias do livro. Uma delas é “April 5th”.

A canção foi escrita pelo trio, em parceria com o marido de Cash, John Leventhal, e lançada em 2008. Ano em que o trio se juntou para formar o “Faith and Free Will” e compor músicas, muitas delas ainda não divulgadas.
