A Columbia Records e a Legacy Recordings anunciaram o lançamento de “Live 1962-1966: Rare Performances from The Copyright Collections”, uma edição especial de clássicos de Bob Dylan.
As faixas (que você pode conferir em detalhes logo abaixo) haviam sido divulgados apenas em três limitadas compilações de gravações raras do artista, lançadas em 2012, 2013 e 2014.
O ponto central deste trabalho é a importante transição na carreira de Dylan, que passou de um inovador artista da folk music americana para uma icônica força da cultura pop.
O projeto conta com gravações do artista em sua era de cafeterias (Cidade de Gerde’s Fok, 1962); suas místicas apresentações no New York’s Town Hall e Carnegie Hall; um dueto com Joan Baez; a histórica Marcha sobre Washington (28 de agosto de 1963); performances definitivas de suas turnês na Europa e em todo o mundo em 1965 e 1966, além de momentos incandescentes das edições do Newport Folk Festival em 1964 e 1965.
