Parece que 2018 será um ano de despedidas. Depois do ícone Paul Simon (Simon & Garfunkel) anunciar o fim de suas apresentações nos palcos, chegou a vez da nossa diva do folk Joan Baez notificar sua farewell tour.

Baez, cujo novo álbum “Whistle Down the Wind” será lançado em 2 de março, disse em abril passado que 2018 seria o último ano de “turnês formais”.

Gravado durante um período de dez dias em Los Angeles, o álbum foi produzido pelo vencedor do Grammy, Joe Henry (Bonnie Raitt, Allen Toussaint e outros) e inclui músicas escritas por Tom Waits, Anohni, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Josh Ritter, Eliza Gilkyson, e muito mais.
